Prenatal Massage in Killeen, TX

Prenatal massage is a gentle, supportive massage designed with the comfort of expecting mothers in mind. At Aluna Skincare and Massage LLC, each session is tailored to your stage of pregnancy, comfort level, and areas where you may be experiencing added tension or fatigue.

What is Prenatal Massage?

Prenatal massage uses gentle massage techniques and supportive positioning to help you relax while accommodating the physical changes that come with pregnancy.

Your therapist may focus on areas such as the lower back, hips, shoulders, legs, and feet, depending on your individual needs and comfort.

A Comfortable, Supportive Massage Experience

Prenatal massage differs from a traditional massage session because extra care is taken with positioning and pressure.

At Aluna, we use a specially designed prenatal massage pillow that provides space for your belly and helps allow you to comfortably lie face down when appropriate. Side-lying positioning and additional supportive pillows are also available so your session can be adjusted to what feels most comfortable for you.

Pressure is generally light to moderate and can be customized based on your preferences and stage of pregnancy.

Benefits of Prenatal Massage

Prenatal massage may be a good choice if you:

Experience general muscle tension or soreness during pregnancy
Carry extra tension in your lower back, hips, shoulders, or legs
Want a gentle and relaxing massage experience
Feel physically tired or uncomfortable
Want dedicated time to slow down, rest, and recharge

Prenatal massage uses light to moderate pressure and is not intended for deep tissue work.

If you have a high-risk pregnancy or any medical concerns, speak with your healthcare provider before scheduling prenatal massage.
