Policies and Etiquette
Be respectful of your surroundings; refrain from making loud noises. Anyone who is intoxicated or under the influence of any illegal drugs will not be permitted inside our building. Inappropriate behaviors, i.e.: violence, unattentive child care, lewdness, etc will not be tolerated. We try to keep a family-friendly environment
Because Aluna Skin Care and Massage is by appointment only your appointment is reserved exclusively for you and we ask that you please review our cancellation policy.
Practice policies of Aluna Skincare and Massage (ASM). All clients will be required to fill out a client intake form and/or service waiver prior to any services performed. The waiver is put in place to protect not only our staff but clients as well. Any client refusal to sign intake forms, waivers for services or acknowledgement of ASM polices will result in a non-conduct of services for that client. Services will only be performed when all intake forms, waivers for services and ASM polices form are signed and dated. I understand that I will receive traditional spa or cosmetic medical treatment from ASM. Some of the various treatments provided by ASM include: massage therapy, facials and facial treatments, body and facial waxing or sugaring, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, body wraps, hair services, eyelash extensions, eyelash tinting and eyelash lifting, foot therapy and pedicures. I understand that depending on the treatment I select, I will be required to sign an informed consent specific to that treatment. I am fully aware that my condition is solely of a cosmetic nature and that the decision to proceed is based on my expressed desire to do so.
ASM require payment and the prices and fee structure for treatment requested. The quoted price for treatment is the price for each individual treatment session, unless otherwise specified in writing by ASM. For cosmetic procedures, please understand that the services often require more than one session for best outcome, and clients have the option of purchasing a series/package of treatment sessions at the quoted package price. Services offered by the ASM are elective in nature and are not covered by health insurance. We accept payment in the form of cash, major credit cards and most smartphone device payment methods.
ASM has a NO REFUND policy on services completed. ASM offers complimentary fixes within seven (7) days of the service completion, pending management approval. ASM has a NO REFUND policy on Gift Certificates and any prepaid packages or series. However, refunds requests made by any clients will be determined on case by case basis after appropriate management
CANCELLATION, NO SHOW AND LATE POLICY
ASM requires 2 hours notification for cancellations of single services and 24 hours notification for multiple services exceeding 1 hour, it’s the clients’ responsibility to provide notification by calling ASM. Failure notify or no-shows to do so will result in a 50% charge of the service(s) fee. Any prepaid treatment session or sessions, may result in forfeit of one future sessions. We at ASM asks that you arrive 10 minutes prior to each of my scheduled appointment time(s) so that all appointments can run both efficiently and timely. Late arrivals may result in a reduction of treatment time or appointment being rescheduled, along with a cancellation fee of $25.00 if appointment needs to be rescheduled.
All sales of skin care and makeup products are final. Unused or Unopened retail products may be returned for a refund within seven (7) days of purchase, with a receipt. ASM offers an exchange or spa credit for up to fourteen (14) days of purchase of any unused or unopened retail products. Used products may only be exchanged or credited pending management approval.

I UNDERSTAND THAT ALL TREATMENTS ARE PROVIDED EXCLUSIVELY BY ASM. I WILL NOT HOLD ASM, ITS OWNERS OR ITS EMPLOYEES RESPONSIBLE FOR THE RESULTS I EXPERIENCE. I REALIZE THAT RESULTS MAY VARY. I FURTHER UNDERSTAND THAT ASM CANNOT PRESCRIBE AN EXACT NUMBER OF TREATMENTS TO SATISFY EVERYONE’S OPINION AND THAT THE NUMBER OF TREATMENTS I COMPLETE WILL BE AT MY OWN DISCRETION. I UNDERSTAND THAT EVEN WITH THE BEST MACHINES AND THE HIGHEST TRAINED TECHNICIANS, AS HIGH AS 10-15% OF CLIENTS WILL NOT HAVE A DESIRED RESPONSE/OUTCOME TO TREATMENTS
If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, we require a minimum of 24-hours notice. If you need to cancel your appointment you need to call the office at: (254) 245-7796. If we don't answer, please leave your information on our voicemail or send a text message.
"No-shows" or last minute cancellations leave us with empty appointment times as well as other guests that can not get in but could have made it. Failure to show without notice or same day cancellations less than 2 hours - There will be a charge of 50% of total. Charges will be made to credit card on file, added to next service or billed by email.
